Industry and Community

The ECIC is committed to fostering Australian innovation through its many community and industry engagement activities.

The ECIC is home to the Entrepreneurs' Challenge - better known as the eChallenge. The eChallenge provides mentoring opportunities and support, financial and otherwise, for young innovators to develop business plans to turn ideas into viable businesses.

The ECIC also manages the University of Adelaide’s Student Entrepreneurial Incubator. The incubator complements and supports participants studying entrepreneurship and/or technology commercialisation, providing them with furnished offices and a support structure for developing early-stage, knowledge-based businesses.

As part of its commitment to community engagement, the ECIC also publishes articles and offers a range of workshops, seminars, and conferences, which are available to the general public and often presented free of charge.
