Application and AdmissionIndividual Units Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program
How to EnrolOnce your application for entry into the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program has been accepted, OUA will contact you and assist you through the enrolment process. OUA offers the flexibility of four (13 week) study periods throughout the year. You can begin your studies in any one of these study periods so long as you enrol before the close of enrolment date. Please refer to the OUA Academic Calendar for important dates. You can complete your studies over a maximum of two years. Please note that deferral of study is not available, therefore please only enrol into the units that you intend to study in the next study period.. We recommend that you begin your Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program with Opportunity Assessment. If you would like to discuss your study options, please contact Karen Snook.
Final GradesYour final grades are available through the My Area of the OUA website six weeks after the end of the study period. OUA use a slightly different grading system to The University of Adelaide. Please refer to the following chart for a comparison:
How to GraduateOnce you have completed the four units required for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program through OUA, you are eligible to apply to graduate from The University of Adelaide with a Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. There are a few steps you need to complete before you can apply to graduate with The University of Adelaide:
Academic Support - SmarthinkingUniversity subjects are challenging, especially if you haven’t studied for a long time or written certain types of documents, such as essays or case studies. Smarthinking is an OUA initiative which provides 4 hours of academic support per study period to assist you in developing your writing, mathematics and study skills. You will have access to an e-instructor who will help guide you to develop your own understanding and skills. For more information please download the Smarthinking Student Handbook and visit Smarthinking on the OUA website.
