Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Australia Research Project
In 2006 the ECIC collaborated with Swinburne University’s Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE) to manage the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) research project in Australia. This survey, coordinated by the London Business School in the UK and Babson College in the USA, is probably the world's largest study of entrepreneurship behaviour. It covers more than 40 countries each year. The 2006 Australian survey produced a wealth of information about entrepreneurship, of particular interest to local authorities that are trying to encourage small business.
